UNICEF, NPC, and NYSC Partnership: Revolutionizing Birth Registration in Nigeria. Birth registration is a fundamental right that ensures every child is recognized as a member of society and gains access to essential services and protections. In a groundbreaking initiative, UNICEF, in partnership with the National Population Commission (NPC) and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has come together to enhance the birth registration process in Nigeria. This collaborative effort aims to streamline and support the digitalized birth registration system in 22 states and Abuja. Through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU), the partners solidify their commitment to this transformative project.
The National Population Commission (NPC) and The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) are now open for recruitment of Adhoc staff and NYSC corps members for the registration of 12.7million birth in Nigeria.
